5 Rules to a High Vibe Morning Routine

It’s true that your morning sets the tone for your entire day. After years of trying to make the perfect morning routine” I realized it’s not just about productivity, it’s about self-care and intention. You don’t have to wake up at 5am, follow a schedule or get your day started before the world. All that matters is a simple routine nourishing you the best. To make the idea of morning routines less overwhelming,I came up with 5 easy rules for myself to follow. Now, no matter my energy level when I wake up, I have an intuitive morning that leaves me refreshed, grounded and ready to take on the day. In this post, I share my 5 morning non negotiable, my daily checkin journal, and ideas for you to craft your own high vibe morning ritual.

5 Morning Routine Rules

1. Sunlight
One of the best things about the morning is welcoming the sunlight! Taking in the sunlight helps regulate your circadian rhythm, boost energy levels and can do wonders for your mood. Be sure to open your windows or go outdoors for a few minutes.
2.Movement
Movement doesn’t mean strenuous workouts. Sometimes I’m up for a 7am hot yoga class but most times – I’m not. Regardless it is very useful to get some type of movement in. It can be a light stretch, a fitness class, going for a walk or simply touching your toes. Any intention movement does what it needs to wake you up and get your energy flowing. Listen to what your body needs that day and move accordingly.
3. Digital Detox
Resisting the urge to check your phone first thing in the morning is probably the hardest thing to stay consistent with. I try to give myself the first 30 minutes of the day to digital detox and be free from screen time. It creates more space for mindfulness and presence. Instead of scrolling ,try saying some affirmations out loud to show yourself extra love: 36 Self Love Affirmations.
4.Nourishment
I must admit that I’m not the best at remembering to eat in the morning but I still understand the importance of fueling my body with something nourishing. It can be a wholesome breakfast, light snack or something hydrating like herbal tea or water with lemon. Having a nourishing breakfast will help you feel more energized and focused throughout the day.

A self check in is a for sure way to get your day started right. You can try journaling, meditation, or reviewing your planner,this daily practice helps you feel more grounded and aligned . Even on slower days, it’s good to take the time to check in and set an agenda. It ensures that our time, both work and leisure is more fulfilling and intentional.

Whether you integrate all five of my rules or just a couple, prioritizing your morning ritual can transform the way you show up for yourself and the world.
